Why row? Rowing is a full body exercise! It's not just for the arms. We use 60% legs, 20% core, and 20% arms. This is one cardio class that you’ll want to come back for. Rowing has been touted as the β€œNew Spinning” by many fitness publications.  Unlike a stationary bike, which has resistance in one direction, rowing has resistance in both directions - forward and back.  Rowing is very simple to learn, anyone can do it.

Our rowing classes max out at 5 clients. We use the WaterRower machines. This indoor rower is unique in that it uses water for resistance (unlike a fan and chain rower that is used in many big box gyms). WaterRower designed their rower to emulate the dynamics of rowing through water. By using water for resistance, the workout provides a more realistic rowing experience. This is good for those who row competitively, and those who like to row for a kick-ass cardio workout.
