ABOUT OUR CLASS LEVELS. . .

All our classes are mixed levels yet fun and challenging.  If you are very new to Pilates we highly suggest you take our Reformer Sculpt class or Private introductory session first to acquaint yourself with the Reformer and Pilates methodology. If you have a major injury, need extreme modifications, or are a pre-natal client, we suggest you contact the studio first to determine the most appropriate group class. 

 

REFORMER SCULPT

This class is a unique take on traditional Pilates Reformer exercises. The class utilizes our Allegro 2 Reformers. Focusing on form, technique, and flexibility, this class incorporates a variety of small apparatus (fitness circle, mini-balls, Therabands, and hand weights) to tone and strengthen the body.  This class is mixed levels and is appropriate for those new to Pilates.

 

REFORMER ABS, ASS & ARMS

Building on our Reformer Sculpt class, this class puts an additional focus on working the abs, the ass, and arms! Super Yay! This class is mixed levels but is not appropriate for pre-natal clients, or clients who need extreme modifications.

 

REFORMER JUMP

Spring loaded fun! Take your Reformer class to the next level! Incorporating the jumpboard adds a cardio element to the Reformer repertoire. With a focus on keeping proper form, jumpboard (or Jump) exercises are done lying on the Pilates Reformer and pushing-off, or 'jumping', against the spring loaded carriage. The exercises are low impact and easy on the joints.

In this class, clients will alternate between Pilates Jump exercises and traditional Pilates exercises on the Reformer. This technique gives the class a high intensity interval training element. The use of a variety of small apparatus (fitness circle, mini-balls, Therabands, and hand weights) and fancy footwork abound in this high energy class. This class is mixed levels but is not appropriate for pre-natal clients, or clients who need extreme modifications. 

 

REFORMER TIGHT & TONED

A low-impact, high-intensity group reformer workout that focuses on core strength, stability, and flexibility while fusing cardio, dynamic strength training, and traditional Pilates. Our Allegro 2 Reformer reformers are state of the art which makes this class unlike any other reformer class you've taken. Minimal downtime and flowing transitions between exercises will keep the heart rate elevated and your body working!  This class is mixed levels but is not appropriate for pre-natal clients, or clients who need extreme modifications. 

 

ROW-FORMER! (ROW & REFORMER SCULPT)

Start on our water-based indoor water rower and end on the Allegro 2 Pilates Reformer! Butt kicking cardio and Pilates combined to make one badass class! Enjoy a fun interval workout on the waterrower, then head on over to the Reformer to focus on core and flexibility exercises in a uniquely motivating environment. This class is mixed levels but is not appropriate for pre-natal clients, or clients who need extreme modifications. 

 

THE 50/50 (REFORMER SCULPT & BARRE)

The 50/50! Sweat never looked so pretty! Begin at the barre and end on the Allegro 2 Pilates Reformer!  This class fuses elements from our Barre classes and our Reformer Sculpt class! This class is mixed levels. However, this class is not appropriate for pre-natal clients.

 

THE 50/50 (REFORMER JUMP & BARRE)

The 50/50 with Jump! This fast pace class begins at the barre and ends on with Jumping on the Allegro 2 Pilates Reformer!  This class fuses elements from our Barre classes and our Reformer Jump class! This class is mixed levels. However, this class is not appropriate for pre-natal clients.

 

BALLET (ISH)

No dance background required for this class. During the 5 week session you’ll learn ballet floor and barre work. Each week we’ll build upon the previous week and routines will progress. This class is mixed levels.

 

BOOTYBARRE®

Bootybarre® fuses techniques from Dance, Pilates, and Yoga to tone and define the whole body. The Bootybarre® method is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with an added cardiovascular element utilizing the barre.  

We focus on proper biomechanics for a safe and well structured class that can be modified for any fitness level. Bootybarre® was created by celebrity trainer Tracey Mallett in 2009, who has taken Bootybarre® to over 25 different countries.  Bootybarre® has been featured in Self, Cosmopolitan, Health, Women's Health, Shape, FitnessRx and many other publications. 

Our Bootybarre® classes incorporate barre and mat work with small props including hand weights, mini balls, and thera-bands. Sweat never looked so good!  This class is mixed levels.

 

BARRE

With a focus on form, we fuse elements of Pilates, Ballet, and functional fitness to achieve a complete body workout. Expect a little bit of everything...light cardio, strength training, balance work, core conditioning, and stretching. This class also incorporates the ballet barre and a variety of small apparatus (fitness circle, mini-balls, Therabands, and hand weights). Minimal downtime and flowing transitions between exercises keeps the heart rate elevated and your body working. We end with stretching! This class is mixed levels.

 

BARRE - ADVANCED ASS KICKING!

Kicking it up a notch! Some serious barre ass kicking goes down in this class! Still focusing on form, we fuse elements of Pilates, Ballet, and functional fitness to achieve a complete body workout. Expect more repetitions and coordination while still focusing on strength training, balance work, core conditioning, and stretching.

Props such as sliders and hip bands are incorporated in the class giving a nice challenge to the class. Done at a faster pace and with little downtime and flowing transitions between exercises the heart rate is kept elevated and your body working. This class is an advanced barre class - prior barre class or Pilates experience is highly recommended. This class is not appropriate for pre-natal clients, or clients who need extreme modifications.

 

HALCYON ROW

This high intensity interval training class combines rowing intervals on our water-based rowing machines with sculpting exercises for the perfect balance of cardio and strength training. This class is mixed levels but is not appropriate for pre-natal clients, or clients who need extreme modifications. 

 

ROWING & TONING WITH MY HOMIES

Begin with rowing on our water-based rowing machines and then finish on the mat. Get your heart rate up and sweat on with 25 minutes of rowing and then tone, sculpt, and stretch it out on the mat. This class is mixed levels but is not appropriate for pre-natal clients, or clients who need extreme modifications.
